The problem
Running a business means tracking paperwork across agencies, locations, and renewal schedules. Permitly brings those records into a single workflow, with search, status filters, renewal history, and estimated upcoming fees.
My contribution
I own the requirements, data models, testing, and release decisions. The work includes tracing unexpected behavior through application logic, data handling, and user workflows, then validating fixes before release.
Details that matter
Expiration is not always the renewal deadline
The app distinguishes a license’s expiration from an open renewal window. Its Renewal Due status and deadline-aware widget help represent that distinction.
Scan, then review
Smart Scan processes documents on-device and lets users check extracted fields before saving. No Permitly account is required; records stay local unless the user enables Premium iCloud sync.
A useful free starting point
Free includes two licenses, two Smart Scans, reminders, and CSV export. Premium expands capacity and adds attachments, reports, advanced reminders, and sync.
